About Us Katherine Minton, PhD, M.S.Ed Evergreen Learning Services was begun by Dr. Katherine Minton, who has worked throughout the United States and in Canada as a teacher, educational diagnostician, and learning specialist, with learners pre-school to college. She has created successful learning programs for students experiencing learning disabilities, different learning styles, head injury, reading difficulties, and learning-related vision problems and has conducted training and conference presentations for other educators and parents. She has studied the connections which often exist between learning difficulties and undetected problems with vision, hearing, head injury, exposure to heavy metals and toxins, nutrition, classroom environments, and physiological imbalances. For the past dozen years Dr. Minton has been in private practice in Colorado. She frequently consults by telephone and email because many parents cannot find an educational specialist in their area who uses an integrated approach to helping students with learning difficulties. Evergreen Learning Services was started to make this help available to any family, wherever they live.
